Overheating and possible fire (!) problems with CTK-710 make Casio do a recall.

Let's just quote the manufacturer here: 

"Due to a manufacturing defect, certain CTK-710 keyboards may present a smoke and/or fire hazard, which could result in serious injury or property damage. No reports of injuries have been received by Casio to date. Casio is aware of five incidents of overheating, including two incidents that resulted in a fire. There have been two reports of property damage. "

To cut it short: manufacturing defect may cause smoke and fire. 5 report of such cases already.

Defects shows in CTK-710 s/n 7030001 - 7040400 and 7041901 - 7043500 (serial is located ain the battery compartment).

US residents have a chance for free repair/change.
