Page 3 of 4 By the time the newly born power socket is on the way. No good soldering directly to the pins, find the suitable plug, solder it first and then insert into socket. The power cable is rather long - near a half of K2000's length to the card reader. But no moving parts in the card reader give the OK status for that. If you hesitate, give it a thicker wire. 10. So, the card reader powering problem is mostly solved And we have to connect the reader itself. Direct soldering here to save space, Do not forget to clean the pins before soldering. Wire it, isolate and bend tails a little, so the housing of k2000 won't touch it. Do not be mistaken by the number of wires - the extra ones I used to connect the cooler (I'll tell you next time 'bout it :) ). 11.The power is connected to the reader, sorry for blurry pic.
