Let's take care of aesthetics. We fix the cable with the help of some wire insulation (red) and a pair of screws.

13. The connecting calbe is long, so it has to be well laid and fixed. 

The same operation for the card reader power cable. The easy way to do it is the short wire tails we find unpacking various computer hardware (as for me, I have plenty of these in the box).

14. The tail is long, so we'd better fix it. 

After finishing this marvellous operation, we have to screw back the housing. So let's do it and see what we got here!

15. The set-up Microtech card reader is proudly replacing the floppy.

I turn Kurzweil K2000 on and go to the Disk, and oh, that's a miracle! Microtech PCD-47B is among the avaliable SCSI devices. I took one approach to get it, I still don't believe :)

16. The moment of truth, the goal for all the uprgade processachieved - card reader works inside the K2000 system and recognized by the OS

Oh, and here's the happy owner of the upgraded K2000, me :)). You understand the moment - happy, after hours of work not only on card reader. That evening I also upgraded RAM, installed P-RAm and internal cooling. But that's the subject for another article. Let's get some rest, it's late, take a look at the watch! ;)
