OK, now as we have NAMM and оofficial specifications for Yamaha MM6, the device we already mentioned, it's more clear from the point of market positioning.  Yamaha MM6, having the price of $699, will sure compete with lo-end stage synths like Korg X50, Roland Juno-D and Kurzweil KME/PC161. 32 voice polyphony, cut down in half (to 70 MB) wave memory, keyboard with no aftertouch, no MIDI Thru, so no illusions here. A reason for joy is the remaining USB (to host, to device), realtime controllers and rather low - as for Yamaha synth - weight - about 5 kg. Info: |
