New creation of Yamaha has the minimalistic style but, anyway, looks interesting. NP-30 Portable Grand Digital Piano has 76 keys with Graded Soft Touch action and stereo sampled AWM grand piano. The weight of the newcomer is just 12 lbs or 5,4 kg (twice less than P70). The keyboard is powered by six AA batteries or the adaptor. Despite the modest weight, the instrument has in-built speakers. there are 10 sounds onboard. the patchh switching is traditional for the low-end Yamaha models - function button plus piano keys. good to see metronome here. Parsing the new action name of the Yamaha NP-30 we suppose it's semi-weighted. The price for the instrument — around $300 in the lands of the US, about $400 in Ukraine.
